Announcement:

Due to special considerations, the Cole Hamels sweepstakes will not be decided by the traditional wavier claim order method. The Bowling League will host a swords-and-bowling-balls cage match in which all interested owners may compete. The winner of this free-for-all will have the exclusive rights to the Phillies' 36k/1bb phenom. Be sure to bring either a (1) curved saber or (2) a 12lb (or under) bowling ball in carrying bag. Cage match location and date TBA.

Hahaha. Excellent work, Josh. The best part of this post is that Marc is probably upset that you are drawing attention to C.Hamels call-up. I'm sure Marc was hoping he'd slip to the 9 spot in the waiver priority.

By the way, I'm hoping his annoying Chris Berman nickname will be CHamels-toe.

Yes, I am upset. Surely, he is not that good. In fact, I heard from a scout I know that he is going to suck. So if I were any of you, I wouldn't waste a roster spot. I might 'have' to waste a spot on him given my terrible pitching but the rest of you should just pass. But I will make sure and periodically update you to his status with the "Colbert Report" in honor of his first name being Colbert.

So what do you think? You guys and lady game to just letting me take on this albatross with the 9th waiver spot?

Marc, you're a bad lier. I'm just a little pissed that I didn't tell Kelly about him so Jeff couldn't win the lottery.
