The race for the Golden Gibler Award for Roster Futility has been over for quite some time. The display case purchased by Adam Butz will house the Gibby until 2007. The Rule of the Wrist presented by MasterCard accomplished a rare Triple Crown in Roster Futiliy:
1) The 2nd most roster moves, coupled with the lowest number of points
2) Finishing in last place, coupled with having traded AWAY his top two draft picks in 2007 (rather than trying to pick up draft picks, as he "rebuilds")
3) Participating in a fury of trades that leaves his keeper situation more tenuous than it started
- Potential keepers drafted or owned by RotW at one point, but no longer: Ortiz, Teixeira, Fielder, Andruw Jones, Nomar, Swisher, Glaus, Carpenter, Nathan, Burnett, Zumaya,
- Current potential keepers: Beltran, Ichiro, Giambi, H. Ramirez, Rios, Halladay, Willis, KRod, Schilling
